Discover Our Dental Services – Tailored to ensure your smile is as healthy as it is beautiful.

Cleaning and Prevention

Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention. All patients are recommended regular cleanings and examinations.

Cosmetics

If you are looking to improve and enhance the attractiveness of your smile, the dentist can provide options from whitening to bonding or veneers.

Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers

If you have a damaged or decayed tooth, our dentists can help you choose the best solution.

Dentures

Our dentists make every effort to preserve your natural teeth. However, extractions are necessary when decay has made the tooth unsalvageable or when you have an advanced periodontal disease.

Extractions & Oral Surgery

Our dentists make every effort to preserve your natural teeth. However, extractions are necessary when decay has made the tooth unsalvageable or when you have an advanced periodontal disease.

Fillings & Restorations

Used to prevent the spread of tooth decay or correct any cosmetic damage, a filling is one of the ways our dentists preserve your health.

Implants

A dental implant mimics the form and function of a natural tooth, which consists of a root and a crown. The crown is the visible part of your tooth. It is used to chew food and is, therefore, the most susceptible to cavities.

TMJ & Nightguards

Excessive jaw clenching and bruxism can accelerate tooth and jaw deterioration. Meanwhile, sporting activities can put your teeth at risk for fracture.

Periodontal Maintenance

Among the causes for periodontal (gum) disease are genetic susceptibility, smoking, and other illnesses like diabetes. Periodontal maintenance involves removing plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline.

Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is faster, more effective, and longer lasting than treatments you find over the counter.

Oral Cancer Screening

Your dentist is constantly screening for and documenting any changes to all soft and hard tissues including the tongue, lips, cheeks, palate, etc.

Orthodontics

Braces can be a fast and effective way to align teeth during growth and development as well as adulthood.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is often indicated for teeth that cause pain though it can be a painless procedure.

Mouthguards

Mouthguards offer comfortable protection for athletes of any age and can be fabricated in any colour.

FAQ

We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit, a dentist will review your dental and medical history. For diagnosis, they will examine your teeth and take X-rays of your mouth. From there, the dentist will explain any issues and help you choose options for treatment. We typically proceed with cleaning at a time that is most convenient for you.
We accept most insurance plans and allow direct payment from insurance companies. You may consider calling our office to verify that your plan is accepted (519.258.2191).
Please bring any insurance information with you to your first appointment. To avoid any billing surprises, an estimate will be sent to the insurance company first to predetermine what your insurance company will or will not pay for. Payment and Co-payment for services are expected at the time of the appointment. Your insurance coverage booklet is a valuable source of information and useful for quick reference. Currently, we accept Cash, Debit, Cheque, Visa & Mastercard credit for payment.

On your first visit to the office, one of our friendly staff members will greet you.  It is recommended to arrive 15 mins before your scheduled appointment time to fill out a few forms.  It is important to bring any information concerning your past medical history and any medications you are currently taking or prescribed.  Your pharmacist may be able to print out a list of your current medications for you.  After you complete the forms, we will perform the following:

  1. Review of your comprehensive medical and dental history

  2. Complete examination, including extraoral (head & neck, lymph nodes etc.) and intraoral (teeth, gums, tongue, throat) hard and soft tissue

  3. X-rays (radiographs) if indicated. If you have current x-rays from another office (bitewings within last 2 years and full series/panoramic within last 5 years), we are able to complete a “release authorization form” with you

  4. Dental cleaning – polish & fluoride will be offered for children and scaling for adults. Some adults may need more than one appointment

  5. Demonstration on how to brush/floss effectively (or denture maintenance, cleaning under bridges or implants etc.)

  6. Photographs – with your permission, we use professional dental photography equipment that can help with cosmetic and invisalign case progression. Also, feel free to use your own camera for a quick shot of your child’s first visit to the dentist!

  7. Dental records – if indicated, we may request to make models of your teeth

  8. Treatment Plan – after your first visit, we will use your records to come up with a personalized treatment plan

Please call the office at (519) 258-2191 to schedule an appointment. We do our best to treat emergency appointments on the same day as they are reported.
